Hey everyone, Christmas is creeping up on us awful quickly this year, isn’t it? With that being said I bet there are alot of you out there who are still at a loss as to what to get certain people in your life. I used to have a problem with what to get certain people, but as I’ve gotten older and wiser I’ve learned how to actually put some real thought into the gifts that I give. So, I thought I’d share with my readers some gift ideas that are sure to make those special people in your life happy.

Let’s start out with the “hers” in your life. By hers, I mean moms, sisters, girlfriends, or even female co-workers. Anyone that is a woman and in your life falls into this category. There are a few things that you can’t go wrong with, in my opinion, and one of them is scented candles. Another is bath products such as body wash, lotion, shower gel and those types of things. If neither of those appeal to you as good gift giving ideas, then you can always give her favorite perfume, or even a box of chocolates. Seriously, what woman doesn’t like perfume and/or chocolates?

For your guy friends, dad, grandfather, boyfriend, or brother I suggest something they can have fun with. Most guys are into things like video games, model cars, novelty toys, food, and anything related to their vehicle. Yes, guys, you know you love your car. Anyway, I would definitely go with something like a new game for their gaming system, or maybe even something like this land rover model. You can’t go wrong with something that will amuse our time or keep us occupied. You can get them a buffer for their vehicle, a shot glass if they drink, or for those food lovers in your life might I suggest something like a gourmet food hamper filled with tons of delicious goodies that are sure to please any hungry man.

What is Christmas without a gift for yourself? While you’re out shopping for everyone else, consider getting yourself something nice, too. Now this might sound greedy, but trust me it’s not. You’ve been spending all your time thinking about everyone else and making everyone else happy that you deserve a reward, so why not indulge? I suggest a new game system, like the Wii, if you haven’t gotten it already or a new laptop. I mean come on, it’s Christmas and if you aren’t going to spoil yourself at Christmas then who will?

If you don’t like any of the ideas I’ve given you thus far, that’s fine. No one said you had to like them, they are merely suggestions. If you prefer to give something more practical, then you can do that too. I’ve decided this year to give my girlfriend a practical gift as well as a gift that she will enjoy. I read an article titled “lower blood pressure by keeping fit with wii fit” and immediately thought that Wii Fit might be a great gift for her. She has diabetes and when you suffer from diabetes, you also usually have issues with blood pressure. So I think that not only will this gift be something that she will get tons of enjoyment out of, it will benefit her healthwise as well.
